You can upgrade to wireless A2DP Bluetooth audio streaming on most navigation and car sound systems with Ampire Bluetooth receivers.

The connection is easily configured and automatically restored via Bluetooth®. The BTR series uses the Bluetooth® protocol for headsets on your smartphone and does not affect the functionality of your car's Bluetooth® hands-free kit.

The BTR200-HD Bluetooth® receiver is designed for navigation and car radio systems with a 3.5 mm input and a 12-volt onboard power supply.

Listen to Bluetooth® in CD quality with aptX(TM)?
As an alternative to standard Bluetooth®, we also offer receivers with the aptX(TM) Bluetooth® codec. This codec is becoming increasingly popular. If you use devices with the aptX(TM) standard, you can significantly improve the sound quality of your Bluetooth® transmissions.

What does Bluetooth® aptX(TM) improve?
The aptX® codec uses a more efficient method of compressing audio data that makes better use of the available bandwidth. The prerequisite for aptX® transmissions is that the playback device and the transmitter are also compatible with Bluetooth® aptX(TM). The function can be recognised by the aptX(TM) letters on the device. The codec supports common audio formats such as MP3 and FLAC.

Which smartphones are compatible with Bluetooth® aptX(TM)?
Not all Android smartphones are compatible with the aptX(TM) Bluetooth® codec. You can check whether your Android smartphone is compatible in your smartphone's technical data. An Apple iPhone is not compatible with the aptX(TM) Bluetooth® codec.
