Yes, according to Decree-Law No. 84/2021, a 3-year warranty for manufacturing defects is mandatory for B2C customers. In the first 2 years, it is assumed that the defect already existed. In the 3rd year, the customer must prove the origin of the defect. In the case of B2B customers, there is no legal obligation for a warranty.
