In this offer, you will receive a repair kit for the digital clock of your VW Golf 4. The clock is located in the instrument cluster and only shows the time with its typical 7-segment displays. The display should therefore not be confused with other displays in the instrument cluster. The same instrument cluster was also used in other models of the time and the display may also fit here. After many years of use and frequent temperature fluctuations, the seal of the LCD elements eventually fails and the display "leaks". Although the component itself is still fully functional, the numbers and symbols can no longer be read completely. The aging of the conductive contact rubbers is also a common reason for the incomplete readability of displays. As a "do-it-yourself" solution, even inexperienced amateurs can repair the display using our illustrated instructions. No complex assembly or soldering work is required for the repair. Since the aging of displays is a general problem, we advise against buying used, "still intact" instrument clusters. In this case too, it is only a matter of time until the display stops working.
