For replacing the switch in the Pre-LCI 2003-2008 version, it is necessary to remove the door panel to replace the switch.

For replacing the switch in the LCI 2008-2010 version, it is not necessary to remove the door; simply use a plastic or flat-head screwdriver to remove the switch trim from the top, remove the old switch with a precision screwdriver, and then snap in the new one.
